First Annual P2P Fusion Developers Workshop
HIIT has planned the first P2P Fusion developer workshop to be held on 13-15 November 2008. It will be held approximately 60km east of Helsinki in the town of Porvoo in the “Sannäs kartano” conference center, a former 16th century manor house that is now a designated historical landmark.
This will be a hands-on workshop for software developers and designers. The goal is to code and to build Fusion applications. Specifically, the focus will be on designing and creating SMAK-components and applications. The core software development skills that will be utilized are: Javascript, XHMTL, and ideally, XUL.
Currently, we have developers from HIIT (5), TAIK (3), and TU Delft (2). Of course, there will be lots of hard work, but also lots of fun. The results of the workshop will be made available at a later date.
